In the previous post, I published the state of my bulk LEGO collection. It’s been a while now, and I’ve been hard at work on consolidating and inventorying all the pieces (and there are a LOT!). In this update, I’m going to post where I am at this exhausting process and what’s left.
The Youtube video is taken in the LEGO room. The photos below are from the LEGO room and other parts of the apartment (everywhere is covered with LEGO at the moment!).
Current State of Bulk LEGO
The main sorting activity takes place in the living room.

There are still bags full of slopes and wedges:

But the main issue is the smaller parts, such as clips, hinges, bars etc.

After I’ve added the parts to the BrickStore inventory, I take them to the LEGO room or keep them in the hallway.

The 5 and 11L Samla boxes proved to be very valuable. Especially for the large parts in masses such as bricks and plates.

I also bought some Wham boxes of different sizes. The ones below are 1.1L. I also have 1.5, 1.9 and 2.6L boxes. I think having boxes with different shapes and volumes allow you to be more flexible. Also, you don’t have to waste space by putting 1L parts in a 5L box.

I also have the small drawers stacked against the wall and Ikea Glis boxes on top of them. On the right, I stacked 24 1.5L boxes, which are currently empty.

The ones below are 2.6L:

In the LEGO room, everything is still very messy!

I sorted the minifigure parts and utensils, which is the culprit of this mess.

But to finish on a positive note, there are some boxes full of catalogued LEGO:

Conclusion
So as of today, I have entered more than 91,000 parts to BrickStore, which weigh about 120KG.

It’s moving slowly, but hopefully, it will be all over this year so that I can enjoy LEGO more next year.
