LEGO Ideas 21320: Dinosaur Fossils is one of the two sets that I ever bought from a LEGO store. I quite enjoyed the build, but it’s been a few years already. So I decided to disassemble it to free some shelf space to display new sets. I think this blog is a good opportunity to post a small photoset of the set so that I can at least remember it this way.
First Display with Lights
The set looks great, but unfortunately, I don’t have the shelf space to display them all on one shelf.

When I first built it and put them on display, I also bought some portable lights on eBay. They are not great but still add more to the displayed set:

Especially in the dark, they look much better:

New Look with the Under Cabinet LEDs
I also bought larger LED lights that can come with stickers so they can be affixed to the top of the shelf as well.

They can be controlled via a remote control which is great. The only problem is they run with 3 AAA batteries. If you use many of them, that makes a lot of batteries!

In the end, I believe they look much better.

I think they look the best and scariest under red light. But the other combinations aren’t bad either:

And here are some more focused shots:

Conclusion
Today is the last day of my dino exhibition. I’ll disassemble and up everything back in the box. I hope at some point I get to build and display it again.
